Improving the Quality of Vocational Education, SV IPB University Holds Past Learning Recognition Assessor Workshop
IPB University Vocational School held a Workshop for Assessors of Recognition of Past Learning (RPL) held on Friday, 2/2 at Delta Meeting Room, Gunung Gede Campus, IPB Vocational School, Bogor.
This workshop has the main agenda to deepen the understanding of the assessors regarding the process of recognition of prior learning, because the recognition of prior learning is crucial in efforts to improve the quality of education, especially at the vocational level.
In his speech, the Dean of IPB University Vocational School, Dr Aceng Hidayat, stated, “We take pride in preparing this RPL workshop because we want to prepare students for further education,” he said.
Dr Aceng said that the activity was a commitment of IPB University Vocational School in providing quality education and preparing students to face future challenges.
“This Past Learning Recognition Assessors Workshop is expected to provide in-depth insight and increase the capacity of the assessors in carrying out their duties more effectively,” he said.
The workshop was attended by the Director of the Education and Learning Development Institute (LP3) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang (UMT), Head of Curriculum and Learning, Head of General and Development, Secretary of Communication Science Study Program, and representatives from each study program of IPB University Vocational School.
