IPB University Innovation KKNT Students Serve in 11 Villages in Cianjur Regency
The Cianjur Regency Government held a release for Innovation Real-Thematic Work Lecture (KKNT) students on Friday, 26/1. The release event was held at the Jati Village Office, Bojongpicung District, Cianjur Regency, and was attended by the Chief of Bojongpicung District and his staff, field supervisors, and students participating in the IPB University Innovation KKNT.
During this activity, reports were also held regarding activities and innovations that had been carried out during service in 11 villages in Bojongpicung District and Haurwangi District.
Tri Sudibyo, field lecturer supervisor, expressed his thanks to the Cianjur Regency Government for accepting IPB University Innovation KKNT students and facilitating them well. “Thank you also to the Innovation KKNT students in Cianjur Regency who for 40 days synergized and collaborated with the community in exploring the village’s potential,” said Tri.
He continued, that through this Innovation KKNT activity, students were able to establish good relationships with the community through full support in carrying out work programs during the activity. “Even though it has limited time, Innovation KKNT not only has a positive impact on the community in Cianjur Regency but also provides valuable experience for IPB University students,” he said.
Azis, as Chief of Bojongpicung Subdistrict, also expressed his thanks to IPB University Innovation KKNT students, especially for activities aimed at exploring and developing local resource potential, considering that the area in Cianjur Regency has a different topography, as well as inadequate infrastructure conditions and is still in progress. repair.
“Even though 40 days is not enough time to implement the program optimally, students can apply their experience and scientific fields well. “Apart from that, the results of student workshops in these 11 villages will be used as guidelines for community development in the future,” said Azis.
On this occasion, reports were also carried out on Innovation KKNT activities carried out in various fields according to the potential and needs of the community, starting from education on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), mapping the potential of tourist attractions in Sukarama Village, to education and management demonstrations. agricultural waste into compost.
“Several other excellent programs carried out by the Innovation KKNT group in Cianjur Regency include the participation of students in developing the potential of MSMEs, one of which is through the MSME exhibition or bazaar program,” said Bima Pramudya, one of the Innovation KKNT members in Cianjur Regency.
Bima added that during KKNT activities, education and outreach were also carried out about the use of diaper waste and used cooking oil for environmentally friendly products. Another superior program in the field of environmental management is the revitalization of the Waste Disposal Site (TPS) in Jatisari Village.
