Implementation of Integrity Zone Development, FMIPA IPB University Executives Signing the Integrity Pact
The Executives of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at IPB University, ranging from the Vice Dean, Assistant Vice Dean, Department Chairs, and Department Secretaries, signed an integrity pact in the context of implementing the development of the Integrity Zone (ZI).
The signing took place on Wednesday, 24/1, at FMIPA IPB University. Meanwhile, the signing of the integrity pact by the deans of FMIPA IPB University had been carried out earlier.
In his address, the Dean of FMIPA IPB University, Dr Berry Juliandi, expressed gratitude to the officials who committed to signing the integrity pact for the realization of the implementation of the corruption-free Integrity Zone development.
“The development of the integrity zone is a concrete step in accelerating the achievement of the bureaucratic reform program’s work plan in the organizational unit,” Dr Berry explained.
The Chairman of the Internal Audit Office (KAI) at IPB University, Dr Wawan Oktariza, emphasized the importance of unit leaders supporting the integrity zone in each faculty by signing the integrity pact.
Furthermore, Dr Wawan stated that the signing of the integrity pact at FMIPA IPB University could set an example to encourage other units to do the same.
“Points to consider in the development of the integrity zone within the organizational unit include building commitment between leaders and employees, conducting self-surveys on public service and anti-corruption perceptions, creating various innovations in efforts to improve public service and prevent corruption,” he explained.
Dr Wawan also highlighted the importance of promoting bureaucratic reform, including issues related to mindset and work culture, the quality of public services, internal supervision systems, and so on.
“I hope that all deans and department heads at IPB University will commit to signing the integrity pact, in accordance with the decision of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology regarding the development of the integrity zone unit towards an area free from corruption,” he said.
