IPB University Consistently Achieves Informative Predicate for 6 Years from the Central Information Commission

IPB University again received an award from the Central Information Commission (KIP) RI as a university with the title ‘Informative’. For six consecutive years, IPB University has always been in the informative cluster in this Public Information Disclosure Award.

Vice Rector of IPB University in the field of Resource Resilience and Infrastructure, Dr Alim Setiawan Slamet, received this award, which was given directly by the Chairman of KIP RI, Donny Yusgiantoro at the Vice Presidential Palace, Jakarta (19/12).

Separately, the Rector of IPB University, Prof Arif Satria, expressed his pride in the predicate achieved by IPB University.

“IPB University, as a public body, will continue to strive to provide accurate information to the public. Public information disclosure is an obligation that must be fulfilled with compliance,” he said.

Prof Arif also expressed his gratitude for the achievements that were successfully maintained by IPB University. He expressed his hope that this achievement would be a motivation for all parties to continue to improve good university governance.
This achievement is recognized as inseparable from the contributions of various related parties at IPB University, especially the Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID), who has played an active role in providing public services.
“PPID IPB University has consistently provided information and conducted extensive publications through various channels, including websites, social media, mass media, public spaces, as well as various internal media and other works,” said Rector.

The Chairman of KIP RI, Donny Yusgiantoro on that occasion reported that of the 369 public bodies that participated in 2023, 139 of them obtained informative qualifications (37.7 percent). This figure shows a significant increase from the previous year, where in 2022, only 122 out of 372 public bodies obtained similar qualifications.

In addition, at the 2023 Public Information Disclosure Award, there were 43 public bodies that received the title towards informative, 13 public bodies with sufficient informative qualifications, 27 public bodies that were less informative, and 147 public bodies that were not informative.
