DKSRA IPB University Presents Expert from Rutgers University at FiSAED Series
The Directorate of Strategic Studies and Academic Reputation (DKSRA) of IPB University organized the international conference Frontiers in Sustainable Agromaritime and Environmental Development (FiSAED) 2023. The series of activities began with a pre-conference by presenting an expert from Rutgers University, United States, Dr Jacob Wickham, as a resource person.
Before it began, the Director of KSRA IPB University as well as the chairman of the Scientific Committee of the FiSAED 2023 international conference, Prof Anuraga Jayanegara, delivered remarks and directions regarding the implementation of this pre-conference activity in collaboration with Editage.
“We hope that conference participants can maximize this webinar session to gain understanding and prepare well for conference activities,” he said.
Dr Wickham presented material on ‘Conference Presentation and Networking’. He provided material to understand the dynamics of conference presentations and how to build effective networks in the professional world.
In a passionately delivered session, Dr Wickham outlined effective presentation strategies, providing practical tips for crafting presentations that amaze and captivate audiences. In addition, he discussed the key skills required to build and expand professional networks in a conference context.
The pre-conference event also included interactive sessions. Attendees had the opportunity to participate in a live discussion with Dr Wickham. The questions posed by attendees reflected their desire to gain further understanding of the relevant topics.
The participants, who were mostly FiSAED international conference attendees, were enthusiastic about the insights provided by Dr Wickham.
