The Famlink application was initiated and developed in 2020 by Prof Euis Sunarti, Professor at IPB University from the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences, Faculty of Human Ecology.
“Famlink is an Android application that provides various features, such as self-assessment of family resilience, family education, consultation services, and networking space for community institutions engaged in increasing family resilience,” said Prof Euis at the IPB Innovation Expo and Social Action Research Launching (29/9), Friday at Botani Square, Bogor.
She said, this web-based Android application is present as a holistic and comprehensive family resilience diagnostic tool, with a network of services and support from experts and related institutions in Indonesia, as well as international networks. FamLink’s social innovation was developed as an effort to accelerate education and family services in the digital era and Indonesia 4.0 is an asset for preparing society towards ‘Society 5.0’.
“Online consultation services are provided as support and assistance to those in need, in anticipation of expanding vulnerabilities and threats to families due to the various changes that surround them. “Famlink can play a role in efforts to optimally utilize digital systems, IoT and big data to provide predictions and strategic policy recommendations for family development,” added Prof Euis.
