Alumni Association Holds IPB Fun Riding 60 KM in Commemoration of IPB University’s 60th Anniversary  

The IPB University Alumni Association (HA) held a Fun Riding activity with the theme Inspiring Ride for The Earth. This activity was attended by alumni and leaders of IPB University which was held on Saturday, 30/9 along the IPB Dramaga Campus, Pakansari route and back to the IPB Dramaga Campus.

In his speech, the Central Leadership Council (DPP) HA IPB University, Dr Walneg S Jas said that this Fun Riding activity was one of a series of events for the 60th Anniversary of IPB University.

“The enthusiasm of the Fun Riding participants today is extraordinary. The peak will be on November 25 and 26. There will be a grand reunion with a minimum of 15,000 participants in Sentul,” he said.

“We do this to strengthen the friendship and networks between us. I congratulate my brothers and sisters who are here today. Don’t forget to maintain safety by following traffic signs because we want this activity to run smoothly,” said Dr Walneg.

Vice Rector For Research, Innovation And Agromaritime Development, Prof. Ernan Rustiadi was happy to see the enthusiastic participants taking part in the Fun Riding activity. “It’s great to see the alumni who participate and look healthy, including my seniors who are extraordinary,” he said.

He continued, just as Dr Walneg said, this activity was a gathering event to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of IPB University.

“Behind this friendship, we are also committed to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Every Friday morning, IPB University implements a healthy lifestyle by holding various sports activities such as cycling, gymnastics, golf and so on,” he said.

Prof. Ernan hopes that the participants, who consist of various backgrounds, will be blessed with healthy bodies so that they can enjoy the activities prepared by HA IPB University until the end of the event smoothly. (Lp/Rz) (IAAS/RZL)
