IPB University Vocational School Receives Grant Funds of More than Rp 2 Billion in Competitive Fund Programme

IPB University Vocational School won a fund grant totalling more than two billion rupiah. The funds were obtained at the Evaluation of the Feasibility of Proposals for the Vocational Competitive Fund (CF) Programme Year 2023 at the Red Top Hotel and Convention Center, Jakarta recently.

This activity is one of the programmes of the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbudristek) through the Directorate General of Vocational Education. This event is the government’s commitment to support and encourage the development of vocational education programmes in Indonesia.

IPB University Vocational School sent a delegation attended by the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Task Force Team, Study Programme (Prodi) Supervisor of Food Quality Assurance (JMP), Agribusiness Management (MAB) and Environmental Engineering and Management (LNK). At the event, the three study programmes received grants including: JMP study programme amounting to Rp 824,468,000, MAB study programme Rp 596,614,500 and LNK study programme Rp 599,111,000.

“The Competitive Fund programme was attended by all study programmes in the Vocational School. They have gone through a selection period at the Vocational School level. Finally, three study programmes entered the evaluation stage consisting of Prodi JMP, Prodi MAB and Prodi LNK,” said Dr Veralianta Br Sebayang as the Head of the Task Force Team.

Vice Dean of IPB University Vocational School for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr Rina Martini gave appreciation for the achievements that have been achieved to the entire team, starting from the process of preparing proposals, responding to document improvements very quickly to qualify for funding.

“The provision of funds from the Competitive Fund programme is expected to facilitate study programmes in developing and improving learning for students at IPB University Vocational School,” she said. (*/Rz) (IAAS/RUM)
