IPB University Received Field Assessment Visit of Bachelor of Nutrition Science and Master of Applied Climatology Study Programs by LAM-PTKes and LAMSAMA
IPB University received a visit for field assessment of the Bachelor of Nutrition Science study program, Department of Community Nutrition, Faculty of Human Ecology (Fema) by the Institute for Self-Accreditation of Higher Education in Health (LAM-PTKes). On the same occasion, IPB University also received a visitation from the Natural Science and Formal Science Self-Accreditation Institute (LAMSAMA) to conduct a field assessment of the Master of Applied Climatology study program, Department of Geophysics and Meteorology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA).
The LAM-PTKes team visit consisted of assessors Adriyan Pramono, PhD and Trias Mahmudono, PhD. The LAMSAMA team consisted of assessors Prof Mitrayana and Dr Dewi Susiloningtyas. Both assessor institutions were accepted directly by the Rector of IPB University, Prof Arif Satria in the Rector’s Conference Room, IPB Dramaga Campus, Bogor, 4/9.
Prof Arif Satria said, “Welcome to IPB University. Hopefully this assessment process will run well, both for the Master of Applied Climatology Study Program and the Bachelor of Nutrition Science.”
In his speech, Prof Arif explained several policy steps related to the K2020 curriculum and IPB University graduates. According to him, the IPB University curriculum designed since 2018 is compatible with the Freedom of Learning – Independence Campus (MBKM) curriculum.
Prof Arif said, K2020 is a curriculum that responds to change. With this curriculum, IPB University has taught skills to new students from the start. Because, the ability that is owned today, one third will disappear in the next five years. He said, through K2020, making IPB University graduates have a very high agile learner and agility figure, so that IPB University graduates are expected to be able to quickly face changes.
In addition, continued Prof Arif, IPB University will also equip students with 17,000 micro credentials accounts. Currently, micro credentials are one of the prerequisites for entering global companies. This effort is made so IPB University graduates are compatible with industry demands.
Meanwhile, LAM-PTKes Assessor, Adriyan Pramono, thanked the welcome from IPB University to conduct a field assessment of the Bachelor of Nutrition Science study program. Prof. Mitrayana also expressed his gratitude on behalf of the LAMSAMA Assessor team who will conduct a field assessment of the Master of Applied Climatology study program. (MHT) (IAAS/ANF)
