IPB University Lecturers and PPK Ormawa Himasilkan Team Provide Financial Intelligence in Rancabungur Village
IPB University lecturers and students from the Department of Aquatic Product Technology (THP), Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) carried out financial management intelligence activities for the Women Farmers group (KWT) in Rancabungur Village. This activity was carried out as a series in the Entrepreneurial Village program launched by the Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program (PPK Ormawa) team of the Fishery Products Technology Student Association (Himasilkan) IPB University.
On this occasion, Dr Bustami, lecturer of THP IPB University conveyed the importance of financial management in business activities. Financial management is needed so that profits and operational costs can be recorded properly, making it easier when used again as business capital.
“In doing entrepreneurship, we must manage finances, especially money in and money out. Through this financial management, we can determine how much operational and variable costs are used for business sustainability,” he said.
During the activity, the KWT women looked enthusiastic listening to the explanation from Dr Bustami and the PPK Ormawa Himasilkan team. Eish Suryati, a resident of Rancabungur Village, revealed that the financial intelligence activities ran smoothly and directed.
“Alhamdulillah, today’s activity is exciting and directed according to the theme. Mothers also get new knowledge to better control finances for capital,” said Esih.
Faiq Abdul Jidan the Chair of the PPK Ormawa Himasilkan team said that the implementation of today’s financial intelligence activities went well with the high enthusiasm of the mothers. Faiq also thanked Dr Bustami for being willing to educate the public regarding financial management.
“Alhamdulillah, the implementation of today’s activity went well because the mothers were also enthusiastic. We must maximize the moment of enthusiasm from the community that has been shown by participating in every activity carried out,” he said.
