Himagreto IPB University Builds Synergy and Collaboration with One of the Best Campuses in South Korea
Agrometeorology Student Association (Himagreto), Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) IPB University successfully conducted an international comparative study with one of the best universities in South Korea, Atmospheric Sciences Yonsei University.
Himagreto IPB University representative, Niko Umbara said, this activity became one of the important milestones in student development efforts in improving relationships, synergy, and collaboration. This activity was realized through cross-cultural knowledge exchange with Atmospheric Sciences Yonsei University students.
“By utilizing online technology, this comparative study was packaged in a sharing session which became a forum for students from both institutions to interact and share experiences. We exchanged information about campus life, organizations, and academic aspects that characterize each university,” said Niko.
In addition, he continued, students also held discussions on the role of meteorology and atmospheric science in addressing global climate issues. Although carried out online, the enthusiasm and enthusiasm that radiated from the members of Himagreto IPB University and Atmospheric Sciences Yonsei University made the implementation run smoothly.
The success of this comparative study can also be seen from the positive response given by Atmospheric Sciences Yonsei University students. They enthusiastically participated in the entire series of interactive events prepared. According to Niko, this interaction was not just an exchange of information but also fostered a close intercultural relationship between the two associations.
“Through this comparative study, it is hoped that students from both associations will get a rare opportunity to broaden their horizons, see the differences and similarities in the education system, and deepen their understanding of campus life abroad,” he hoped.
Niko added, that with the spirit of learning and sharing, the international comparative study between Himagreto IPB University and Atmospheric Sciences Yonsei University has successfully created an environment that supports academic growth, opens up new opportunities, and broadens horizons in facing future challenges.
