Organizational Governance Workshop for Deans of Faculties and Heads of Departments of IPB University

In order to increase resilience and strengthen campus autonomy of IPB University, the Directorate of Human Resources (SDM) held an organizational governance workshop for deans of faculties and schools and heads of departments throughout the environment of IPB University on (9/6) which was held in the Senate Room of the Academy, Dramaga Campus, Bogor.
This workshop presented several resource persons from various units namely the Directorate of Planning, Directorate of General and Infrastructure, Procurement Unit, Directorate of Finance, Directorate of Human Resources and Institute of Information Management and Digital Transformation.
Dr Heti Mulyati, Director of Human Resources said that the purpose of the activity was to provide an understanding for the deans of faculties/schools and heads of departments at IPB University.
“The point is how we can provide an initial understanding of organizational governance, especially in the fields of planning, procurement, infrastructure, finance, human resources to digital transformation and information systems,” said Dr Heti.
She said that there will be a workshop for vice deans and department secretaries. This workshop also cannot be delegated so that all leaders can fully understand the management of this resilience field.
” Through this workshop, hopefully there will be a lot of input for the improvement of organizational governance in the future and provide benefits to be more resilient in managing the resources owned and still be able to make IPB University an outstanding campus,” she concluded.
Vice Rector of IPB University in the field of Resource Resilience and Infrastructure, Dr Alim Setiawan Slamet who was also present at the activity said that this workshop was a form of joint commitment to be able to build good governance at IPB University.
“This workshop is a good opportunity to be able to share and refresh how the organizational governance of state universities with legal status (PTNBH), especially at IPB University. Our transformation as an autonomous campus has been almost 23 years. Many things we have done to strengthen campus autonomy and the acceleration is very fast so that it affects the performance and reputation of IPB University, “said Dr Alim Setiawan.
He also invited to take advantage of this workshop opportunity to be able to equalize perceptions and provide input in order to continue to strengthen and improve governance at IPB University. (Lp/Rz) (IAAS/MKY)
