IPB University Vocational School Takes Part in Edufair 2023 at SMKN 1 Cikalongkulon
The Vocational School (SV) of IPB University took part in organizing Edufair 2023 at SMK Negeri Cikalongkulon, Cianjur on Thursday, (15/6). This year's Edufair was attended by 12 vocational training institutions (LPK), state universities (PTN), and private universities (PTS). This activity was also attended by no less than 500 participants who were students, alumni, and teachers of the State Vocational High School (SMKN) 1 Cikalongkulon.
Edufair is an annual education exhibition that aims to provide a platform for students, educators, and educational institutions to meet and exchange knowledge, insights, and opportunities. The event aims to serve as a bridge between the vocational education sector and higher education institutions, facilitating a smooth transition and encouraging cooperation.
Participants will have the opportunity to interact directly with representatives from these institutions and gain valuable information on the various educational pathways available to students and alumni.
Danang Priyambodo, SPt, MSi, a representative from SV IPB University said, participation in Edufair 2023 demonstrates a shared commitment between SMKN 1 Cikalongkulon and SV IPB University in promoting educational excellence and enhancing the educational ecosystem. The partnership between the two parties is also part of the SMK Center of Excellence (SMK PK) cooperation program that has been established in the last two years.
"We are very pleased to be able to participate in this Edufair 2023 activity at SMKN 1 Cikalongkulon. This event is an important platform for students to explore participants' advanced education options and connect with educational institutions," said the Head of Study Program D4 Livestock Technology and Management SV IPB University.
"By showcasing the diverse programs offered by LPK, PNT, and PTS, we aim to inspire and empower students and alumni to make informed decisions regarding future education and career paths," said Jajat, Principal of SMKN 1 Cikalongkulon.
