IPB University Comes to Bandung Regency for KKN-T Innovation 2023
The Bandung Regency Government received 98 students from IPB University’s Innovation Thematic Community Service Programme (KKN-T). In 2023, IPB University has sent 3,316 students to 6 provinces, 36 regencies/cities, 383 villages in Indonesia. For West Java Province, there are 14 districts / cities that are the location of KKN-T Innovation in 2023.
IPB University’s KKN-T Innovation activities in Bandung Regency raised the theme of Desa Berderap Wirausaha Agribisnis (DBWA) in the context of implementing the Independent Campus Competition Programme (PKKM). This DBWA activity focuses on the development of beef cattle agribusiness, dairy cattle and social entrepreneurship (agrisociopreneurship) of livestock agribusiness that is inclusive, sustainable and based on digital innovation.
Through this DBWA, students are expected to look for new corporate social responsibility (CSR) opportunities that can be implemented in village agribusiness activities. Cooperation between the world of education, companies and the community is expected to produce positive synergies and provide wider benefits to rural communities.
In the handover of KKN-T Inovasi, IPB University representatives were present, including Assistant Director of Agromaritime Services and Digital Farming, Directorate of Agromaritime Community Development, Dr Supriyanto and Supervisor of Agromaritime Services, Danang Aria Nugroho, SE, MSi. Also present were Regional Coordinator Lecturer Tintin Sarianti, SP, MM and Field Supervisors Ranti Wiliasih, SP, MSi and Eva Yolynda Aviny, SP, MM.
“Thank you to the Bandung Regency Government for being willing to accept IPB University students for this KKN-T Innovation activity,” said Dr Supriyanto.
The Head of Ciwidey Sub-District, Rahmat Hidayat, SSTP, MAP, representing the Bandung Regency Government hopes that this activity can be sustainable and can provide benefits to the community, especially in Ciwidey, Pangalengan and Pasir Jambu Sub-Districts as KKN-T Innovation places.
“On behalf of myself and the government, I invite all to collaborate to build Bandung Regency so that the community after the post-pandemic can rise again.
