IPB University Master of Management and Business Students Visit PT Tri-Wall Indonesia
IPB University Business School (SB) students from the Management and Business Masters Program carried out a field visit to PT Tri-Wall Indonesia, which is located in the Indonesia-China Integrated Industrial Area (KITIC), recently. The visit of IPB University students was welcomed directly by Yusuf Romadhon as the Main Director of PT Tri-Wall Indonesia and the executives.
PT Tri-Wall Indonesia is part of the global network of Tri-Wall Group, a packaging company that offers various services to meet business needs such as industrial packaging, corrugated packaging for heavy duty, automotive packaging, food and beverage packaging, and others.
The visit was led by Dr. Siti Jahroh, a lecturer at SB IPB University who is also the Course Coordinator of the Kapita Selekta Business and Management course. He said, this visit was a collaboration between SB-IPB University and the ASEAN-MAFF Japan HRD Project and was still part of a series of 50 years of Japan-Indonesia Friendship activities.
"Thank you for the opportunity to visit. Hopefully there will be cooperation and collaboration between the world of education and corporate companies. IPB University SB students are also expected to be able to enrich their insights and network with the business world, be able to identify problems and business opportunities, and design alternative solutions," said Dr Siti Jahroh.
The plan for cooperation and collaboration was welcomed by PT Tri-Wall Indonesia. Collaboration is carried out to integrate professional ethics in research and demonstrate socially responsible behavior in running a business organization that puts forward the principle of inclusive growth.
Yusuf Romadhon in his speech said that innovation in business is one of the keys to success and sustainability. "This is in line with the vision of the founder of Tri-Wall Group, Mr Yuji Suzuki that Tri-Wall is synonymous with integrity, quality, and innovation and strives to offer a unique combination of integrated packaging solutions and services unmatched by any other company: To be The Only One, he said.
In the morning session, students listened to presentations from the sales department and production department. During the discussion session, they enthusiastically asked and answered questions given by the speaker.
