Agrianita IPB University held a bazaar in order to enliven the 2023 Kartini Day Festival, Tuesday (23/5). The implementation of this activity coincides with a cooking competition which takes place on the front lawn of the IPB University Museum and will last until Wednesday (24/5).

“The bazaar starts from 08.00 to 13.00 WIB. We took Agrianita, who is part of the entrepreneurship group from each faculty, and also invited partners and sponsors. About 30 tenants participated in this festival, with goods sold varied from food to clothing, said the head of the Kartini Day Festival committee, Elly L Oemar.

He explained, Agrianita IPB University always held bazaars when holding events as an effort to empower the economy for mothers who are members of entrepreneurial groups. Besides being able to increase revenue, it is hoped that their products will become increasingly known.

The same thing was expressed by Riska Urfiana, one of the bazaar participants who said that this bazaar was very helpful in promoting their products. "Hopefully this event can continue so that our products can be more widely known," he hoped.

Elly explained that the Kartini Day Festival is held every year to commemorate Kartini's struggle and all female heroes in Indonesia.

"Raden Ajeng Kartini and all the other female heroes are an inspiration for Agrianita IPB University as a forum for fighters, for their families and themselves. The enthusiasm to stay and continue learning must be instilled in the hearts of members of Agrianita IPB University. We hope that this positive activity will continue,” he concluded.
