IPB University and Alumni Batch 21 (Agathis) Give 5,139 Hari Raya Gifts 2023
The Directorate of Human Resources (HR) of IPB University organized the distribution of Bingkisan Hari Raya (BHR) 2023 which took place at Graha Widya Wisuda, Dramaga Campus, Bogor (12/4). The symbolic handover of the BHR package was carried out by the Rector of IPB University, Prof Arif Satria and Vice Rector for Resource and Infrastructure Resilience, Dr Alim Setiawan Slamet to the deans, lecturers and education staff (tendik).
Prof Arif Satria expressed his gratitude for the implementation of this BHR awarding activity. He explained that BHR is a routine series carried out by IPB University which is usually carried out in the week before Eid.
According to him, the 5,139 gifts showed IPB University's desire for happiness to be shared together. He also expressed his gratitude to Agathis, Alumni of IPB University batch 21 who had provided donations for this activity.
"Convey our greetings to Agathis friends. I pray that Agathis will be in good health, have good fortune and always be happy because meeting classmates is always happy. If the class is compact, it must be happy," said Prof Arif.
He added, IPB University will also provide scholarships to be able to study to the children of tendik, both those with status as civil servants (PNS) and contract workers in stages.
Prof Arif said, IPB University is committed to providing assistance in two ways, education and health. Currently, all IPB University employees get additional outpatient and inpatient insurance.
"Hopefully, our endeavor to provide scholarships to almost all the first and second class tendiks can be an encouragement for all of us to make work more comfortable, calm and the quality of our families can be better and improved," added the Rector of IPB University.
Dr Heti Mulyati as HR Director of IPB University said, this activity is one form of non-financial compensation given to employees. "Last week we already gave Tunjangan Hari Raya (THR). There is an additional incentive for all permanent and contract employees totaling Rp 1,500,000, where there is an increase from the previous year in financial terms," she said.
She elaborated, the BHR package provided contains eight types of products. They consist of premium beef, beef liver, carcass chicken, red tilapia, premium rice, cooking oil, sugar and syrup.
"To provide rice, tilapia, meat, beef liver and chicken, we coordinate with the Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, Faculty of Animal Sciences and Vocational School," said Dr Heti.
According to her, the number of BHR package recipients has increased this year. From last year's 5,000 to 5,139 packages this year.
BHR packages were distributed to all employees, both civil servants (PNS), permanent employees, contract employees, casual daily workers (THL), contract units and parts that have supported IPB University, namely Agrianita, Paguyuban Pensioners, Koperasi Pegawai Teko Sumodiwirdjo, Dewan Kemakmuran Masjid (DKM) Al Hurriyyah and also for security forces outside IPB University.
On the same occasion, Ir Nelly Oswini, the Head of Agathis IPB University expressed her gratitude to IPB University for giving the opportunity to share. She said that currently her party also has the Agathis Berbagi program.
"Within 8 days, thank God, more than 1,300 packages can be distributed to our brothers and sisters, don't look at how much we give but this is a sign of love from Agathis," said Ir Nelly. (Ns) (IAAS/RUM)
