Himasiter IPB University Conducts Ramadan Ceria Program in Cihideung Ilir Village

Community Service Bureau, Animal Nutrition and Feed Student Association (Himasiter), Faculty of Animal Sciences (Fapet) IPB University held a Ramadan Ceria Program with the theme ‘Feel in Egypt on Ramadan Ceria with Full Happiness’, (7-9/4) in Cihideung Ilir Village, Bogor, West Java.

Dara Aryana Ibni Salasah, the person in charge of the activity said, this activity is a Himasiter work program that is routinely carried out every year to fill the month of Ramadan through useful activities. She hoped that Ramadan Ceria could boost the spirit of the children while instilling Islamic values from an early age.

“As the next generation of the nation, children must be instilled with Islamic values from an early age. We do this so that they can become a quality generation and always be diligent in learning,” said the IPB University student.

She said, Ramadan Ceria has a series of activities in the form of competitions followed by kindergarten (TK) and elementary school (SD) students. The competitions held include calligraphy coloring, Islamic fashion show, call to prayer and memorization of short letters.

Dara said that the target participants in this activity were 10 participants from each competition. However, the number of participants who participated actually exceeded the target with a total of 86 participants.

“This activity was successful and received an unexpectedly good response and enthusiasm from the number of participants who participated in this event. Hopefully the Ramadan Ceria event can continue every year and run better with high enthusiasm from the community,” he concluded. (*/Rz) (IAAS/SNI)
