This Year IPB University Successfully Entered the World's Top 450 Universities Version of QS WUR
This year, IPB University managed to enter the World’s Top 450 Universities according to the QS WUR version. IPB University is precisely at 449th based on information released by the QS World University Rankings and signed by Ben Sowter, Senior Vice-President, QS Quacquarelli Symond in June 2022.
The Rector of IPB University, Prof. Dr. Arif Satria expressed his appreciation for this proud achievement, where IPB managed to jump 62 levels. “We are grateful and would like to express our gratitude to all those who have contributed to the QS WUR ranking. This is the result of the hard work of all of us in the program to improve research performance and internationalization, along with the increasing enthusiasm to generate innovation. We will continue to maintain this momentum of improvement through increasing publications, graduates' readiness and qualifications (graduate employability), also internationalization and reputation (academic and employer reputation)," said the Rector.
The release of the QS World University Ranking confirms the position of IPB University in the community of global level quality universities. A few months ago, QS also released a ranking of science-based universities (QS WUR by Subject), where IPB University is ranked 41st in the world in agriculture and forestry, which is the main mandate of IPB University.
Furthermore, Prof. Arif emphasized that the ranking is not a goal, but the result of a quality, progressive and innovative implementation of the Tri Dharma. "IPB University's orientation remains to contribute as much as possible to strengthen innovation for the community welfare and the national advancement, said the Rector. (*)
