A total of 23 IPB University Students Received in the 2022 Indonesian Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) Program


A total of 23 IPB University students were accepted into the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) 2022 program. Prof. Drajat Martianto, Vice Rector for Education and Student Affairs at IPB University congratulated the faculties and schools that students passed the IISMA 2022 program. He explained that this year the number The number of students participating in the program has increased from 2021.

"For the 23 students who passed there were 19 study destinations including Australia, Spain, Ireland, Taiwan, Scotland, Hungary, Taiwan, India, South Korea, Italy, South Korea, Italy, Spain, the United States, New Zealand, Taiwan, Hungary, Canada," said Prof Drajat.

The Indonesian International Student Mobility Award (IISMA) is a scholarship scheme from the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to fund Indonesian students to participate in mobility programs at leading universities and leading industries abroad. The IISMA program includes two tracks, namely for undergraduate and vocational students. With IISMA, students can spend one semester at a reputable partner institution.

For the undergraduate pathway, this program equips students with the skills needed in the future world of work. Some of the skills taught are sense-making, social intelligence, novel and adaptive thinking, cross-cultural competence, computational thinking, new-media literacy, transdisciplinarity, design mindset, cognitive load management, and virtual collaboration.

For vocational high school (SMK) students, this program offers learning in collaboration with industry. The students will do practical assignments to improve their skills. Overall, IISMA will expose Indonesian students to international academic and cultural diversity.
