Launching Water Station, Indonesian Sharia Bank Waqf for IPB University


The Investment and Social Fund Management Agency (BPIDS) of IPB University inaugurated the free clean water facility (Water Station) on 18/5 at the Front Plaza of the Faculty of Animal Science (Fapet). Water Station Fapet IPB University is a waqf program managed by BPIDS with funding from Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI). The inauguration was carried out by the Dean of Fapet, Area Manager of BSI Bogor and Deputy Head of BPIDS.

Dr. Idat Galih Permana, Dean of Fapet IPB University welcomed the existence of a Water Station that could be used not only for Fapet but also for faculties that have activities or are around Fapet. “With the Water Station, it is economical and very useful, especially for students. Water Station is also a program of the IPB Green Campus Movement," he explained.

Deputy Head of BPIDS, Dr. Alla Asmara expressed appreciation for Fapet and appreciation to BSI. Dr. Alla hopes that the existence of the Water Station can provide benefits for anyone. In addition, she also said that in the future there will also be a Water Station at the Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM) and the School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (SKHB).

BSI Bogor Area Manager Ricky Rikardo Mulyadi also expressed his appreciation. “Alhamdulillah, this Water Station can be operated and used, the waqf has inspired all. Hopefully it will be useful for us and hopefully IPB University and BSI will strengthen their cooperation," he said. (Femmy/Zul) (IAAS/FJN)
