Vocational School of IPB University Received Best Program Award in Learning Quality Category


The Vocational School of IPB University received the Best Program Award in Learning Quality Category at the training for Pre-Employment Card Program. The award was received at Rumah Ranadi Jakarta last week by the COO of Karier.mu, Radinka Qiera Amin to the Project Manager of Training Program, Dr Pria Sembada in Partners Gathering and Appreciation of Work Partners of Karier.mu by Sekolah.mu event.

"Alhamdulilah, we are really grateful that the Vocational School of IPB University is appreciated as the Best Program in Learning Quality Category at the Work Partners Appreciation by Karier.mu. This will motivate us to keep and improve the quality of our programs in the future," said the Head of Collaboration and Development Commission of IPB University Vocational School.

In his speech, Dr Pria explained that at the start of collaboration with Karier.mu by Sekolah.mu, there are two programs for Pre-Employment Program, which are Pastry and Bakery: Cake and Pastry and Bakery: Bread.

"The participant's number for the first semester is around 2.300 participants. Then, in the second semester, the number increased to 66.566 participants until semester 1 in 2021. In semester 2 of 2021, there are three additional programs, Healthy Food Processing, Microblog, and Livestock Yield's Processing and Handling with around 420.000 participants," he stated.

Meanwhile, according to the Dean of Vocational School, Dr Arief Daryanto, there are lessons learned from these activities.

"We are able to place the perfect training program for the participants' needs. Which is by offering hands-on experience and applicable training, just like the characteristic of vocational study, to then developed further by the participants," Dr Arief said.

According to him, acceptance by Sekolah.mu gives a multiplier effect to the Vocational School. Because of that, his party can develop various infrastructures and teaching factories to support the training.

"On progress, we were making production houses such as Podcast Room, Mini Theater, and Multimedia Room to support the needs in training's content production," he explained. (WB/Zul) (IAAS/EAZ)
