IPB University-BNI Strengthen Cooperation through Kick Off Campus Financial Ecosystem


IPB University and BNI collaborate in an effort to transform the financial ecosystem. Through the Kick Off Campus Financial Ecosystem, IPB University and BNI agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding and cooperation agreement, 3/12 at the Dramaga Campus.

The Rector of IPB University, Prof Arif Satria, said that this collaboration in the development of the financial ecosystem is relevant to the dynamics of the times. According to him, the use of the latest technology is important for various affairs. In addition, this collaboration is in line with IPB University's steps in digital transformation efforts that have been carried out so far.

"This is part of IPB University and BNI's efforts to continue to provide smarter services to IPB University residents and partners to carry out various activities in an integrated system. Building a financial ecosystem at IPB University so that all can be easily connected," said Prof Arif.

On that occasion, Prof Arif also conveyed that the collaboration between IPB University and BNI in the future will develop IPB Pay. However, he admits, in the process, there are a number of regulations that must be passed. "This financial ecosystem will continue to grow. Hopefully in five to six months, IPB University will have IPB Pay. With BNI's support, IPB Pay will be able to provide a new strength for IPB University. If that can happen, the ecosystem will be even wider. And we will be able to lead in providing integrated management and financial services, both externally and internally,” he said.

Prof Arif also hopes that this collaboration can run well and provide great benefits to the community. So that the presence of IPB University and BNI in the middle has a significant impact. IPB University Ecosystem Financial Digitization Support is integrated with BNI Direct Cash Management, API service management and Virtual Accounts. The Campus Financial Ecosystem is also a solution to the needs of students and employees. These include student payment centers, postgraduate education flexion student loans, student multifunction cards, scholarships and recruitment, BNI Flexi employee loans, housing and payroll, research flexibility, BNI Life insurance and Financial Institution Pension Funds (DPLK), BNI IPB Affinity credit cards for Endowment Fund, Alumni Association Member Card (HA), BNI Edupreneur and IPB Cashless.

In addition to the signing of a memorandum of understanding between IPB University and BNI regarding the Higher Education Financial Ecosystem, on that occasion various Cooperation Agreements (PKS) were signed, namely BNI Flexion for Postgraduate Education, Certified Internship BNI, IPB University Cashless, BNI Edupreneur and Early Recruitment Program.

Meanwhile, BNI's Director of Institutional Relations, Sis Apik Wijayanto said, IPB University, especially the figure of Prof Arif, was a source of inspiration for him and the banking world. "Today's Kick Off Campus Financial Ecosystem is also an inspiration from Prof Arif, that we must innovate. In the past, institutional relations only thought about third party funds. But now, we have to talk about ecosystems, they must be integrated. Thank you for the long-standing cooperation we have worked together all this time.
