IPB University Rises 511+ World Ranking QS 2022 Version


Consistently increasing, IPB University is ranked 511-520 in the QS World University Rankings released June 8, 2021.

"This year IPB University's ranking has increased to 511-520 from the previous position of 531 -540," said Prof. Arif Satria, Chancellor of IPB University.

QS World University Rankings (QS WUR) is one of the ranking systems that many universities in the world refer to. The ranking system is the main reference for world universities, including Indonesia.

"We are grateful and express our gratitude to all leaders of work units and residents of IPB University who have contributed to improving the performance of IPB University in this QS WUR," said Prof Arif Satria.

With the trend of consistently increasing IPB University rankings in QS WUR, the Chancellor of IPB University is committed to continuing to bring this institution to a better position. Starting from efforts to increase the number of international students, increasing research, publications, and citations, academic internationalization, and building a global reputation. The hope is that IPB University can enter the Top 400 of the world's best universities in the coming year.

The release of the QS World University Rankings also confirms the position of IPB University in the world university community. Previously, IPB University entered the Top 62 in the QS WUR by Subject on Agriculture and Forestry 2021 and became the best in ASEAN. Not only that but IPB University is also ranked 118 in the QS Asia Rankings 2021 and in positions 101-200 in Times Higher Education based on the ranking of THE Impact Rankings 2021. (RA)
