Congratulations to The New Student Candidates, IPB University Receives 1500 Matriculants Through the SBMPTN test


After the Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK) was held on July 5-17 and July 20-25 2020, today, August 14, 2020, the State Universities Entrance Test Institutions (LTMPT) announced the results of the State Universities Entrance Joint Selection (SBMPTN). As we know, UTBK is a written test to get a score that will be used in the SBMPTN selection process. UTBK certificate can be downloaded on August 15, 2020, at 3.00 PM. In this year's SBMPTN test, IPB University accepts as many as 1500 students. This figure is approximately 35 percent of the total IPB University's new undergraduate students selected in various ways. Registration for new student candidates through the SBMPTN test will be carried out online starting August 17, 2020, at 7.00 AM.

The Rector of IPB University, Prof. Dr. Arif Satria, expressed his welcome greeting to the matriculants from the SBMPTN test. "Welcome to join the IPB University big family. Prepare to be educated to become cadres of leaders and agricultural fighters in the future," he said. The Rector advised the participants who had not been successfully accepted by IPB that they could try again through the Computer-Based Independent Writing Test (UTM-BK).

Previously, as many as 1835 IPB University's new students were accepted through the National Selection to Enter State Universities (SNMPTN) on April 8, 2020. IPB University also accepts 296 new undergraduate students (S1) from the independent tests, which each of them are through the Student Council Chairperson selection, 79 people through the International and National Achievement (PIN) selection whose selection results have been announced on April 30, the International Class Batch I has announced the election results on June 4 as many as 79 people, as well as the Regional Delegation Scholarship (BUD) selection for 168 people whose selection results have been announced on July 24. Meanwhile, for the admission selection for the diploma program (D3) at the Vocational School, IPB University has received as many as 2500 people through the IPB Entrance Selection Invitation (USMI), whose selection results have been announced on May 18, 2020.

New undergraduate students from the SNMPTN test, the Student Council Chairperson selection, PIN selection, as well as the International Class Batch 1 along with the new diploma program students through USMI selection have even received training in the form of 7 Habits for Highly Effective Student Training on August 5-8. This training program is intended to measure the abilities, interests, and talents of the students.

Meanwhile, other independent tests for undergraduate programs, namely the Computer-Based Independent Writing Test (UTMBK) and the International Class Batch II will be held on August 15, 2020.
