IPB University, YAPI and BEI Make Students Knows More About Investment
To improve the quality of its graduates, the Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM) of IPB University collaborated with the IPB Care Foundation (YAPI) and the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The inauguration of the cooperation was held at the Jakarta Stock Exchange Building (18/4).
Chancellor of IPB, Dr. Arif Satria said that this collaboration was carried out in order to continue to improve the quality of IPB graduates. According to him in an effort to improve its graduates, IPB wants to continue to bring industry or the private sector so that outsiders are getting closer to IPB.
"We want to bring reality to students so that students know about the business world. Through this collaboration, students are aware of what is in the business world in real terms. In addition, students also have information about the world of the stock exchange. This will encourage students to increase their insight into investment. Meanwhile, IPB's collaboration with YAPI also plays an important role in encouraging social programs or assistance that are included in the investment framework, "he said.
The Director of BEI, Inarno Djajadi in his speech said that the IDX welcomed IPB's efforts in providing understanding to students regarding capital market investment. This is in line with IDX's commitment in educating all Indonesians about the capital market to increase investors.
"In the near future, this collaboration will build a financial laboratory or mini exchange development. We hope that with this mini exchange development, it will be a facility for students to get to know the capital market instruments and the long-term investment benefits. This can be a reference for other investment galleries throughout Indonesia, "he said. (Dh / Zul)
