Kitchen of Agrianita IPB University Receives 2 Ton Fish Processed Food Aid for Students
Agrianita IPB University received aid about 2 ton of fish processed food from PT KIF (KML Ichimasa Food). The aid would be used for Program Dapur Agrianita then deliver to IPB University students. The aid handover held on Wednesday (6/11) in House of Agrianita, IPB University Campus, Dramaga, Bogor.
The Chairman of Agrianita IPB University, Neno Arif Satria said that Agrianita IPB University still had big “house work” must be done, there is helping the institution in finishing student’s welfare problem.
“Many efforts and programs done by Agrianita IPB University, there were environment structuring, cleaning dormitory program, also become foster mother for students. We did the strategy to educate students to keep clean, healthy, and neat,” explained The Chairman of Agrianita IPB University.
About Program Dapur Agrianita, by the aid from PT KIF, every month Agrianita will provide free meal for more than thousand students.
Neno explained, the mechanism of implementation will be in rotation of faculties. The first one to start is Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science (FPIK) on November. FPIK was chosen as the first because it was coincide with Fish Day. December will be for Program Pendidikan Kopetensi Umum (PPKU) or the First Level Students that in girls and boys dormitories.
Before that, Agrianita IPB University also had done routinely Go Maksi (lunch meal) program.
“I hope in the future there will be central kitchen managed by Agrianita IPB University. Kitchen of Agrianita can provide the facilities. So, the donors, such as alumni or other stakeholders can solve IPB University’s problems together,” closed Neno.
Rector of IPB University, Prof Arif Satria extended gratitude for the support PT KIF gave fish processed food aid.
“This aid will be very helpful on solving social problem of students. I also appreciate Agrianita IPB University that work to grass root. I think Agrianita suits to solve this social problem because they have high sensitivity,” said lecturer of IPB University from Faculty of Human Ecology.
Prof Arif Satria admitted that the aid can increase much add value to IPB University academic community.
Not only that, this aid can be pioneer of economic empowerment in Agrianita IPB University. By the collaboration between IPB University and PT KIF, the members of Agrianita IPB University can create fish processed food business in other place then become wider market.
Kelola Group Owner, Ir Mohammad Najikh very appreciated mothers of Agrianita IPB University program that helped students in need.
“On this opportunity, we deliver aid about 2.3 tons fish processed food that can be useful for increasing students’ welfare. Beside that, Agrianita IPB University can do crowdfunding from fish processed product business,” he said.
Nadjikh admitted, his party will provide freezer to support the program by Agrianita IPB University.
On the same occasion, it held bazaar of fish product and fish processed food by PT KIF also bazaar of fresh eggs. (NR)
