Naree, Dancing Application Made by IPB Students
For some millennials, dancing is an exciting activity. In addition, K-POP wave is increasingly widespread and increasingly popular in the society. This is the reason that Naree team from Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) was chosen as the First Winner in the Information Technology Creative Competition (ITCC) in Bali (13-16/11). Naree is an application accommodates dancers especially in getting the latest information related to dance and to make it easier for users to read information about competitions and dance events.
To introduce and develop Naree, Guntur Putra Pratama, Andhika Kartika Rahayu and Thirafi Aufar Idris, students of the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) included Naree in the ITCC.
"The three of us have been in the dance field and we see that since the beginning of K-POP, such modern dances are increasingly in demand. However, based on our observations, information about competitions or events that are spread is still minimal. Calling from that, we made an application that can help friends in getting information from the application which we then named Naree," Rafi said.
Naree itself can be accessed on the PlayStore or the web. Currently it has been downloaded more than 800 times. This application is a forum for dancers especially in getting the latest info related to information and information for users of information and events.
"We targeted this application for the millennials. Because at the moment the information we provide still crosses modern dance. In the future, we will also develop traditional dances. In Naree, there is an achievement feature that contains the achievements that have been achieved by the user. This can make it easier for users to find mentors to practice. Surely by adding this feature, users become more motivated to achieve more," said Rafi. (FM)
