LPPM IPB Provide 50 Turnitin Accounts to Departments

Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) through the Deputy Head of Strategic Studies and Scientific Publications, Dr. Eva Anggraini, S.Pi, M.Si hands over 50 Turnitin accounts to representatives of departments in IPB. Previously LPPM IPB has submitted 30 Turnitin accounts for journal managers.

This account submission is done during Coaching Turnitin event at Andi Hakim Nasution Building, Dramaga Bogor IPB Campus (23/7). Coaching Turnitin is done to help the registration process and how to upload articles. The dissemination of Turnitin access is expected to further assist the quality of publications of all IPB academic community, from lecturers, researchers and students.

"Publication is a major milestone towards world class university. It needs to be supported starting from the preparation of the manuscript, one of which facilitates plagiarism and similarity checks, "says Dr. Eva Anggraini.

Dr. Hawis Madduppa, Head of Scientific Publication Field of LPPM IPB, reveals this service to provide wider access to lecturers, researchers and students to check the manuscript, thesis, dissertation, and to support checks on the examination process in the Credit Rating System and Scientific Information Score Information System Sipakaril).

According to him, this check plagiarism service can also be obtained every day through visits to the office or the Publication Clinic website. (NR)
