Graduate Students Forum Holds a Symposium of Level Commission
The Discussion Forum of Graduate Schools of Bogor Agricultural University (SPS IPB) held a Level Commission Symposium at Graduate School Building of 308 in IPB Dramaga Campus, Bogor, Saturday (10/3). This activity was opened by the Secretary of SPS Master Program of IPB, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nahrowi M.Sc, and attended by the Commissions from various master and doctoral departments of IPB.
In his remarks Prof. Nahrowi conveyed that he is always happy to accept SPS students who want to discuss or need help. "I will be on the student side as long as the students are right," said Prof. Nahrowi. Chairman of the symposium, Multazimul Haq, S.Pi, delivered the first discussion session about 'Academic Norms and Efforts to Improve Scientific Culture in IPB' which was also served by Prof. Nahrowi.
According to Prof. Nahrowi, the student has a choice during university life, namely willingness to seek value or knowledge, to graduate on time or late, to only focus to study or studying and organizing at the same time. "The options are ultimately in our hands, whether having success or failure ending." On this occasion, Prof. Nahrowi also shared the key to success as a student such as reading and writing diligently, making good planning, being a productive student, and being always honest. "If everything is done well, Insya Allah we will be successful," he said. In the question and answer session, there were six Commissioners who brought suggestions or questions representing their colleagues in their departments. The first session was closed with a souvenir handover.
The activity continued with two sessions delivered by Vice Chairman of IPB SPS Discussion Forum, Kiki Yulianto, STP, MP. Meroket Cabinet 2018 was socialized to the Commissions during these sessions to strengthen the information and communication from Discussion Forum to all SPS students. "Hopefully after this workshop, all students, campus bureaucrats, and discussion forum can continue to synergize and successfully form a Harmony and Smart Family," said Kiki. (TK)
