Student of IPB was Selected to be the National Director of IAAS

One of the students of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Ayida Martas Sulfa this year was selected as the National Director of the International Association of Students in Agricultural and Related Science (IAAS) Indonesia. IAAS was the international organization which was based on the development of science and technology in the field of agriculture.

IAAS Indonesia had been established from 25 years ago. The Selection of the National Director of IAAS Indonesia was conducted in the event of the National Congress of IAAS every year. The annual event of IAAS Indonesia was participated by 8 local committees (LC) in Indonesia namely IAAS of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Brawijaya University (UB), Padjajaran University (Unpad), Diponegoro University (Undip), Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), Mataram University (Unram), and Lambung Mangkurat University (Unlam).

Before becoming the National Director, Ayida Martas Sulfa also assumed the position as the Local Committee Director of IAAS Local Committee IPB. Ayida Martas Sulfa who was also the student of the Department of Soil Science and Land Resources in the Faculty of Agriculture of IPB also ever won the awards for The Most Outstanding Oral Presentation Award in the event of 2016 Asia Pasific Agriculture Undergraduate Project Competition in the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan, and was the scholarship recipient of Karya Salemba Empat.***
