Empowerment if Youth, the Student of IPB was Elected to be the Delegate for Youth4Dev Academy Booth Camp 2017

Sugih Satrio Wibowo, a student of the Department of Animal Production and Technology (IPTP), of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry of Bogor Agricultural University (FAPET IPB) had been elected to represent West Java as one the 34 selected delegates in Youth4Dev Academy Booth Camp 2017. The event was initiated by four alumni of The YSEALI Civic Engagement University of Nebraska and is supported by the US Embassy in Jakarta. The program focuses on the role of the youth of the region in contributing to the achievement of 17 goals of sustainable development (SDG's). The event will also select several social projects proposed by the delegates to be funded for its implementation in a pitching project session with the US Embassy,  Jakarta.

As the representative of West Java, Sugih will bring the social project on Agreeneration (Agriculture Generation). It is the joint project with the Bogor Youth Impact Community to create a future agricultural generation through agricultural education. In addition, Agreeneration also presents the concept of urban farming in one RW which will be managed together to reduce unemployment at a young age in exploiting the local potential of the region. Agreeneration also aims to prepare youth of RW levels for future demographic bonuses. The project was successfully chosen as the selected project for funding and mentorship by the US Embassy, Jakarta, at the Youth For Sustainable Development Small Grants Competition. (Wied)
