Training on Stock of Bogor Trading Competition 2017
Bogor Trading Competition 2017 was the stock trading competition event in the national level with the student participants. This event was part of the series of the event of the Management Euphoria held by the Profession Association, the Department of Management, the Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM), Bogor Agricultural University (IPB).
To enter the competition of the stock trading of this “Bogor Trading Competition 2017”, it was held the stock trading training (18/3) aiming to support the participants’ knowledge about the capital market and to prepare the participants. The event held in the New FEM Building, Campus of IPB Darmaga, was followed by 100 participants who were the students of IPB.
Presented in this occasion and helped to deliver a speech was the representative of the Department of Management FEM, Rindang Matoati, SE, M.Sc; the representative of PT. Indo Premier Sekuritas which was the sponsor of the event of Bogor Trading Competition 2017, Frenky; and the Event Chairman of Bogor Trading Competition 2017, Yolla Haja Olyvia (the student of the Department of Management).
The training was preceded by the video playback of Yuk Nabung Saham and the video company of PT. Indo Premier Sekuritas. Yuk Nabung Saham was the capital market campaign that invited the community of Indonesia as the potential investors to invest in the capital market by buying the Stock, Reksa Dana, ETF routinely and periodically. Yuk Nabung Saham was expected to be able to become the national movement that brought the community of Indonesia to fond of saving in the capital market. PT. Indo Premier Sekuritas was one of the securities companies that supported the movement of Yuk Nabung Saham by educating the community about the capital market.
In this research, there were two sessions. In the first session, PT. Indo Premier Sekuritas explained to the students about the capital market and the stock. The second session, PT. Indo Premier Sekuritas taught to the students about the ways of the stock transaction. PT. Indo Premier Sekuritas taught through the application of IPOTGO. The next training which would be held by Bogor Trading Competition would take place on 31 March 2017 to come.***
