IPB Delegation Achieved the Award of The 22nd Tri-U

Delegation of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) consisting of 15 students followed The 22nd Tri-U International Joint Seminar and Symposium in Jiangsu University, China, (18-23/10). They won several awards in the annual seminar and symposium, namely Best Presenter in the theme of Food on behalf of Cynthia Andriani and in the theme of Energy on behalf of Qorry Aina. 

Delegation of IPB also excelled in Workshop Session; Ayendha Kukuh Pangesti and Yuni Widyastuti as well as students from several other universities in Group 7 won the first prize in the Workshop Session with the innovative idea of Proud-7 (Print and remove automized utilized device). Chevia Nadia and Deden Dwi Permadi as well as students from several other universities in Group 2 with the innovative idea of Independent Future Island, and M. Abdullah Mujahid and Rizky Rahadian Ramdhani as well as students from several other universities in Group 6 with the innovative idea of Eco-friendly Canteen succeeded to become the runner up with the same score. Cultural Performance was displayed by the delegation of IPB featuring angklung with some folk songs, medley of jaipong dance, gopala dance, and galuak dance, closed with sajojo dance also got a very festive.

Also presented to accompany the delegates of IPB were Rector of IPB, Prof.Dr. Herry Suhardiyanto, Director of Cooperation and International Program of IPB, Dr. Edy Hartulistiyoso, Dean of Faculty of Forestry of IPB, Dr. Rinekso Soekmadi, Head of Sub-Directorate of Character Development and Mobility of Directorate of Student Affairs of IPB, Dr. Sintho Wahyuning Ardie, and faculty advisers of Tri-U of IPB, Ir. Sri Endah Agustina, MS. and Dra. Alfa Chasanah, MA.

At the time of Rector Forum, Prof. Herry Suhardiyanto had expressed the readiness of IPB to host The 23rd Tri-U Joint Seminar and Symposium in the next 2016. The flag of Tri-U had been submitted by Rector of Jiangsu University to IPB at the time of closing ceremony and symbolically made IPB as the host of The 23nd Tri-U International Joint Seminar and Symposium in 2016. Proud achievement that had been accomplished was expected to further increase in The 23nd Tri-U International Joint Seminar and Symposium in 2016 in IPB.***
