IPB Won the Most Grants in the National Competitive Research Seminar 2015
Directorate of Research and Community Services, Directorate of Higher Education, Ministry of Research of Technology and Higher Education of RI held “Seminar Hasil Penelitian Kompetitif Nasional yang Sudah Selesai (PUSNAS, STRANAS, HIKOM, KLN, RAPID, MP3EI, IPTEK) Tahun 2015 / National Competitive Research Seminar Completed (PUSNAS, STRANAS, HIKOM, KLN, RAPID, MP3EI, Science and Technology) in 2015”. The event held in The Mirah Bogor was conducted in the mid of April 2015.
Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) in this seminar activity worked out as University (PT) with most participants won the research grants, i.e. as many as 46 of the total 100 titles from 17 PT which were presented. In this seminar also presented, based on Decision of Director of Research and Community Services of Higher Education, Agus Surbekti had assigned Dr. Irzaman from Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) IPB to became the first best presenter for A group (Skim of Research of STRANAS) with the title of research of “Pembuatan Alat Ukur Kadar Gula Darah Secara Non-Invasive Menggunakan Sensor Film Tipis Bahan Ferroelektrik Barium Stronsium Titanat (Ba0,5Sr0,5TiO3) / Making of Measuring Blood Sugar Levels in Non-Invasive Sensor Using Thin Film Ferroelectric Material of Barium Strontium Titanate (Ba0, 5Sr0, 5TiO3) ”.
Prof.Dr. Luki Abdullah from Department of Nutrition Science and Animal Husbandry Technology, Faculty of Animal Husbandry (Fapet) IPB became the best presenter for C group (Skim of Research of RAPID), with the title of research of “Pengembangan dan Komersialisasi Produk Ransum Komplit Berbasis Hijauan Indigofera (IndiFeedPB) sebagai Pakan Berkualitas Tinggi untuk Kambing Perah / Development and Product Commercialization of Forage-Based Complete Rations Indigofera (IndiFeedPB) as a High Quality Feed for Dairy Goat”.
Prof. Dr. I Made Astawan from Department of Food Science and Technology, Faculty of Agricultural Technology (Fateta) IPB became the best presented in D group D (Skim of research of MP3EI), with the title of research of “Penerapan Konsep Good Manufacturing Practices pada Pengrajin Tempe untuk Mengantisipasi Berlakunya Standar Mutu Internasional dan Meningkatkan Potensi Ekonomi Indonesia / Implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices Concept in Tempe Craftsmen for Anticipating the Applicability to International Quality Standard and Increase Economic Potential of Indonesia”.
Not only that, the distribution of participants of IPB won the Competence Grants (HIKOM) of eight participants, National Strategic Research Program (PUSNAS) of one participant, Mainstay Research Program of University and Industry (RAPID) of one participant, Foreign Cooperation and International Publication, National Strategy (Stranas) of 21 participants and Masterplan of Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesian Economic Development (MP3EI) of five participants.
The National Competitive Scheme was developed by Higher Education with the consideration of many strategic production sectors which were undeveloped, also the relation of various fields of technology. Besides that, the technology involved in the strategic sector had experienced a rapid progress, so that it required the more extensive efforts to master the technological advances. Therefore, it was necessary to have the more comprehensive effort to map the related technology roadmap with the development of strategic production sector and to implement in the production activity.(dh)
