Lecturer, singer, and Restaurants Get a Certificate of IPR (Intellectual Property Rights)

Prof.Dr.Ir. Dedi Soedharma, together with Dr DEA. Ir. Istiyanto Samijan, M.Sc. and Dr. Ir. Sulistiono M. Sc, all of whom are the teaching staff of Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Bogor Agricultural University, received a certificate of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) from the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, the Republic of Indonesia. The IPR Certificate was given directly by the Minister of Justice and Human Rights, Amir Syamsudin, SH on  October 31, 2011at Graha Pangayoman, Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, Kuningan Jakarta. The patent with ID number P0029169 is given to the innovation entitled "Artificial Fragmentation Process at Massive Reefs for Mass Production".

"This patent is expected to help ornamental coral reef fishermen to increase the production of ornamental reef and can be used in the rehabilitation of coral reefs in Indonesia," said Prof.Dedi Soedharma. On the occasion other intellectual property right certificates were also submitted for the copyrights of the song composers Rinto Harahap, and Titik Puspa and Melly Guslow as well as the copyright for the name of the Sundanese restaurant called: Kuliner Bandung.
