The Security Guard of Bogor Agricultural University Caught Helmet Thiefs

Again, the Campus Security Unit (UKK) of Bogor Agricultural University has caught a thief, and this time they have successfully caught helmets thief specialis. This incident happened some time ago, on 5 April 2011,  around the parking areas of the Department of Agronomy and Horticulture (Agrohot) of the Faculty of Agriculture.

As usual, when the guard did the  routine patrol, by the time he passed the Agrohot  parking areas, he saw there were two suspicious strangers. Then, those two strangers were seen to take the helmet of the motorcycle that was parked there.

Then the guard tailed that thiefs on motorcycle, as those men were  also on a motorcycle. When the security guard warned those two men, they run away by throwing helmet.

Chasing occured between the guard and the thiefs. By using the communication equipment, the guard asked the other guards to close the main gate in front.

One of the thief was  successfully arrested after trying to escape across the highway, and had hit by a vehicle when he was crossing the street.  The siezure process the guard was assisted by one police officer on duty in the area.  

The other thief, was  caught in the vicinity of Babakan Doneng, Kampus Dalam of Bogor Agricultural University.  Students and residents assisted the process of arrest. Then both thiefs  were escorted to the security post, and handed over to the Police Station, Dramaga. (Wied)
