Vice Rector for Resources and Development with New Operational Vehicles Donated by BTN

BTN (Bank Tabungan Nasional = The National Saving Bank)  has donated the  operational vehicles, Toyota Kijang Innova Type G Premium Automatic,  to Bogor  Agriccultural University. The delivery was coincided  with the signing of the MoU "Operational Development Program" between the Bogor  Agriccultural University and the Bank, on 8 November 2010.

Prof. Hermanto Siregar, stated that in the early stages of cooperation, the University has accepted  an  operational vehicles. Meanwhile, according to Prof. Hermanto, although there have been other financial institutions in the campus, there is no obligation for the University  to utilize such banking services provided by BTN.

Further, Prof. Hermanto Siregar,  stated that the donation made by BTN for the University will  promote good university governance.

In addition, Prof. Hermanto expects that the University will emplify the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) which has been developed by BTN, especially in administering the  scholarship, "Bogor Agricultural University is very serious in helping students who needs financial aids by providing bursary. Scholarships are available for less fortunate students, but have  a good academic performance. 

Mr. Simbolon Viator, Director of BTN Bogor Branch, reported that the BTN is classified to be  healthy and reliable. In his oppinion, the Bank is very concerned with the operational management of State and Private Universities by providing development funds and Credit for the People’s Business (KUR).

After signing the MoU, prof. Hermanto Siregar enjoyed the opportunity to tour the campus by driving the operational vehicles granted by  BTN, and was  accompanied  by Director of BTN Bogor Branch, Division Head CNFD, Mr. Harrist Sulistya, Head of Regional 1, Mr. Yunan Harahap, and Head of Institute of Research and Community Service of Bogor Agricultural University,  Prof. Bambang Pramudya.
