Rector Releases IPB’s Candidates of Hajj Pilgrims for 2010

Rector of IPB, Prof. Dr.Ir. Herry Suhardiyanto, M.Sc. released 62 candidates of Hajj pilgrims from IPB’s staff, on Thursday (30 / 9) in the Senate Meeting Room, Andi Hakim Nasoetion Building, Darmaga Campus of IPB Bogor. These candidates of duyuufurrohman are advised to always concentrate on worship in the holy land and develop a spirit of total worship.

"We hope the IPB’s pilgrims of 2010 will receive the attribute of Haji Mabrur in the assessment of Allah SWT. As a leader I ask for an apology as IPB is not yet able to properly facilitate the pilgrimage of IPB staff," said Rector in the presence of the pilgrims.

The goal of Haji Mabrur (Pilgrimage accepted by Allah), according to Ustadz (Religious Preacher). Dr Hasim, who gave advice, is to pass away and go to heaven. "Let us not only succeed in this world, but also in the Hereafter. As the pilgrims, don’t get worried while you are on the holy land. Be assured that Allah will entertain His guests well, as long as we obey His rules," said Ustadz Hasim.

On this occasion, the pilgrims also received a health briefing by the Head of Polyclinic IPB, Dr. dr. Hj. Sri Budiarti. The event was also coupled with training on hajj rituals by the religious teachers joined in the Kafilah (Group) of Al-Hurriyah led by Prof. Dr.Ir. H.M. Bintoro, M. Agr. The hajj ritual material is presented by Ustadz Drs.H.E. Syamsuddin, Ustadz A. Munif and Ustadz H. Waladan Mardijja. (mtd)
