Joyous of HANTER Social Services

In order to celebrate the  Idul Fitri 1413 H  Day, the Association of Alumni Faculty of Animal Husbandry (HANTER) of Bogor Agricultural University as usual, this year held the Social Services (Bakti Sosial)  for honorary staff under the level 1, 2 and 3 of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry – Bogor Agricultural University.  For this special event,  230 (two hundred thrity)  parcels were donated on 6 September 2010 in the Faculty of Animal Husbandry campus.  Some of the parcels, even were donated for  members of Campus Security Unit (UKK) of Bogor Agricultural University, some  pedicab drivers who parked their pedicabs around the campus, as well as cash donation for Orphanage  and Dhuafa managed by Bogor Agricultural University.

Those free parcel  contains rice, sugar, eggs, chicken, cooking oil, butter, syrup, tea bags, snacks, instant noodles, and candy.  The sources of those   materials were from the alumni as well as several corporate sponsors such as PT Charoend Phokpand, PT Sierad Produce Tbk, PT Puteri Cahaya Kharisma, Sinarmas, Subafood, Garuda Food and Perfetti Van Melle Produce.

For the year 2010, the Association has implemented some activities  such as the National Seminar "Toward Self-sufficiency on Meat and Milk  amid the ACFTA", Training Courses on Eentrepreneurship,  scholarships for students of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, as well as social activities by donating parcels. These  activities are the important ways to maintain the relationship among alumni, as they are the faltform for them to communicatre, as well as to share various information and to provide feedback to the Faculty as their concerns for the alma mater.
