Graduation Ceremony of Diploma Program IPB: Phase II

Institut Pertanian Bogor again officially releases its 1200 Diploma graduates. They include 19 graduates in Communication Skills, 151 graduates in Information Management, 62 graduates in Production Technology and Aquaculture Management, 30 graduates in Technology and Management of Livestock, 107 graduates in Chemical Analysis, 59 graduates in Accounting, 62 graduates in Seed Industrial Technology, 121 graduates in Food Quality Assurance  Supervision, 58 graduates in Ecotourism, 117 graduates in Agribusiness Management, 79 graduates in Planning and Production Control in Manufacturing and Services, 228 graduates in Computer Engineering, and 121 graduates in Oil Palm Plantation.

"On behalf of the academic community, I express congratulations to you on the success in completing the education. My congratulations also go to the families and companions who continue to give moral and physical supports to your success," said Rector of IPB, Prof. Dr. Ir. Herry Suhardiyanto, M. Sc in his speech delivered at the open session and submission of graduation certificates for the Diploma Program of IPB Phase II at Graha Widya graduation building (19-20/10). Attending the ceremony were the former Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Ir. Adyaksa Dault as a representative of IPB alumni and graduates for the first day ceremony, and the leaders of PT. Sinar Mas Tbk on the second day of graduation.

Meanwhile according to the data provided by the Coordinator for the Expertise Program of Livestock Technology and Management, Ir. Andi Murfi, M.Sc. of 30 graduates officially released in July 2010 within the period three months after graduation,  nine have already worked, three create their own business (entrepreneurs), seven continue to take further studies (taking the degree program of Strata 1), and five graduates are waiting for the result of the last week’s selection or recruitment of PT.
