BNI and IPB Explore Cooperation in Improvement of Financial Management

PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk is exploring cooperation with IPB in promoting the capacity of financial management services. The commitment was stated in the signing of the Cooperation Agreement (SPK) by both sides, the Head of Jakarta City Regional Office of PT BNI (Persero) Tbk, Anggoro Eko Cahyo and the Rector of IPB, Prof. Ir. Herry Suhardiyanto, M.Sc. (24 / 8) at IPB International Convention Center (IICC), Bogor.

In the agreement, BNI will help with the cash management services by providing the facilities of tuition payments on line for undergraduate (S1) students, ATM and tellers at all outlets of BNI. "All equipment and devices are provided by BNI," Anggoro said in his speech.

"The cash management system will provide convenience to customers to get various information about the funds, and make it easier to do various types of electronic transactions directly from a specific location supported by a network of BNI’s electronic banking systems consisting of around 1200 outlets and 400 ATMs," said Anggoro.

He said, BNI this year received the best award for a local bank with cash management services, according to the result of opinion polling by the AsiaMoney magazine.
"This is part of our expertise," added Anggoro.

Meanwhile, the Rector of IPB after the signing said that through this cash management, IPB can easily monitor the financial management, and also parents and students can make transactions more easily wherever they are.

"I think students and parents are now ready to accept the banking technology. This facility represents our contribution in developing the national education and also as a national connectivity, "said Rector. (mtd)
