Bogor Agricultural University Was Named the Fourth Winner of the XXIII Pimnas in Bali

Bogor Agricultural Institute won the fourth winner of the 23rd National Student Scientific Week (Pimnas), held at the Mahasaraswati University, Denpasar, Bali,  21-23 July 2010. Bogor Agricultural University won 3 (three)  gold, 4 (four) silver,  and  3 (three) bronze.

While Gadjah Mada University was listed as the top number of  gold medals winner, as this University won, 9 (nine) gold, 4 (four) silver, and  6 (six) bronze, total  19 medals were brought home by  the Gadjah Mada University.

The second top number of  gold medal winners was Sepuluh November Institute of  Technology (ITS), that won  10 (ten)  medals  consisted of  3 (three) gold, 3 (three) silver,  and 4 (four) bronze. The third listed for the highest number was the State University of Yogyakarta (UNY), that  won eight medals consisted  of 4 (four) gold, 2 (two) silver, and 2 (two) bronze.

Announcement of the winners coincided with closing of the Pimnas 23. Pimnas was officially closed by the Director of Research and the Community Services  (P2M), Directorate General of  the  Ministry National Education, Mr. Suryo Utomo Tri Hapsoro,  at Taman Budaya Denpasar, on Friday,  23 July 2010  evening.
