Directorate of Communications and Information Systems of Bogor Agricultural University has received a grant in the form of servers  for  resources of  the University, student mail system, and  for the database of personal web and  digital scanning respectively,  from Bank Mandiri Tbk amounted to  Rp. 232 577 850, – (Two hundred thirty two and five hundred sevent seven eight hundred and fifty Rupiah). The signing of the MoU and the handover of grants from the Senior Vice President of Bank Mandiri, Mr. Muhammad Guntur to the  Director of Communications and Information Systems, Prof.Dr.Ir. Kudang Boro Seminar,  was held at the  Andi Hakim Nasoetion Building, Darmaga Campus, on 4 August 2010.

"The donation of  server equipment and hi-tech digital scanning, was the implementation  Environmental Managment  Program  of Directorate Technology & Operations of of Bank Mandiri  for Bogor Agricultural University. This program was the participatory progam for the community development, especially to  improve the quality of education as formulated by the  Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of the bank. It was expected that the donation  would assist Bogor Agricultural University in improving its  quality and learning process, stated by Mr. Guntur.

Such  opportunity should not be  neglected   by   Bogor Agricultural University, stated by  Prof.  Kudang, The server database donated  by the bank would be instrumental   for the University to achieve  higher ranking  of  the webometrics status  of Bogor Agricultural University.   Currently, Bogor Agricultural University is in the sixth position in the webometrics rank across Indonesia.  So as to achieve the top position,  Bogor Agricultural University must increase   data to be uploaded on the website. With the help of Bank Mandiri,  Bogor Agricultural University  plan to improve its higher  position  in webometric rank would come into reality,  "he concluded and was approved by  the Vice Rector of Business and Communication, Dr.  Arif Imam Soeroso.
