Chairman of YAPI Heri Sunaryadi said, from all the students that apply to IPB University, as many as 53 percent are students with parents who earn less than Rp 3 million per month. "Of the 53 percent, YAPI hopes to be able to provide scholarships for 20 percent of them," Heri said at a press conference held in Jakarta, (15/12). To meet this target, YAPI held a fundraising event, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and cooperated with state-owned companies, such as PT Jasa Raharja.
For the first time, YAPI raised funds in the form of a charity concert entitled "Voices That Care". The charity concert was enlivened by performances from the choir of IPB University Agria Swara students. The Chairman of charity concert committee, Tjandra Wibowo, said that this charity concert is a form of help that not only comes from the alumni, but also from the students of IPB University themselves.
