IPB University Treats the Accompaniment of UTBK-SNBT Participants with Campus and Museum Tour
IPB University provides a memorable experience for parents and those accompanying their children in the implementation of the Computer-Based Written Examination-National Selection Based Test (UTBK-SNBT) in 2025 at Dramaga Campus.
While waiting for the completion of the exam, parents and companions were invited to enjoy the beauty of the campus and explore the history of IPB University through the Museum Tour program and around the campus.
Using the campus bus, the trip started from the library building, along the main road of the Dramaga campus to introduce the various faculties at IPB University as an illustration of the academic environment of prospective students.
The bus then docked at the IPB Future Museum and Gallery, marking the last route of the tour. Here, the history and vision of the future of IPB University are visualized in an interesting way, including through a mini theater.
Chairman of the Institute for Information Management and Digital Transformation (LMITD) of IPB University, Ir Julio Adisantoso, MKom, explained that the IPB Future Museum and Gallery also keeps an important record of the development of agricultural education in Indonesia.
“Inside the museum, visitors can enjoy various interactive facilities such as 360-degree photobooth and Virtual Campus Tour (VCT),” he said.
He hoped, through this activity, parents could be more motivated to support their children in achieving higher education at IPB University.
A positive impression of the IPB University Museum was expressed by Ika Karina Indah, one of the companions of UTBK-SNBT participants.
“I was previously less interested in IPB University, but because of my child’s desire to enter IPB University, I will fully support his goals,” she said.
She added that the museum tour changed his paradigm. From initially not really knowing and being interested, she now began to harbor admiration. “From this tour, I became amazed by IPB University, here it is explained about the long history of the beginning of IPB, its leaders and presidium and the specialty of each faculty.” (AS) (IAAS/ASY)
