Halalbihalal 1446H, Rector of IPB University: Purity of Heart is the First Capital to Study

IPB University held a Halalbihalal 1446H event with the theme “Purify the Heart, Strengthen the Mentality, True Learner”. The event was held on Wednesday, 9/4 at Telaga Inspirasi Field, IPB Dramaga Campus, Bogor.

Prof Arif Satria, Rector of IPB University said in his speech, this year’s theme is a very important phrase to become a true learner. Purity of heart, is the initial capital of a person in gaining knowledge.

“Purity of heart is the capital to seek knowledge and strengthen our integrity. At the same time, it is also the capital to complete the competence we have. With integrity and competence, institutional trust will be created,” he said.

In addition, Prof Arif Satria said that Eid is the best moment to upgrade and improve one’s capacity. According to him, great human characters are those who can provide benefits in the long term.

“The best human is a human who has benefits with a large multiplier effect. Even when he is gone, the benefits of his work are still felt,” he said.

Prof Arif Satria continued, “What we leave behind in the world, we hope, are works that provide great effects and benefits. That systemic benefit orientation is the capital for us to encourage progress.”
