CIBEST IPB University Launches Muamalah Consultation Clinic, Sharia Financial Consultation Service for the Community

Center for Islamic Business and Economic Studies (CIBEST) IPB University launched Muamalah Consultation Clinic (MCC). This service was launched in conjunction with Inspirasi Pagi, a series of Ramadan programs of Masjid Al Hurriyah IPB University, Saturday (8/3).
MCC was formed as a comprehensive community consultation service to provide solutions and guidance related to Islamic finance. Starting from financial planning, sharia investment, zakat, infaq, sedekah, to waqf. This service is the result of collaboration between CIBEST, Family Consultation Institute (LKK), Department of Sharia Economics, and DKM Masjid Al Hurriyyah.Â
One of the initiators of the establishment of MCC, Dr Salahuddin El Ayyubi, Lc, MA was present as a guest speaker for Inspirasi Pagi. The CIBEST researcher and lecturer at the Department of Sharia Economics will also be in charge of the muamalah consultation section of the MCC.
Dr Laily Arsyanti, Chairperson of CIBEST IPB University explained, this program was initiated in response to the increasing need of the community for financial services in accordance with sharia principles, as well as to improve sharia financial literacy among the community.Â
“MCC is designed as an innovative solution to answer the challenges in understanding and applying the principles of sharia muamalah, especially in the fields of economics, business, and Islamic finance,” she said.
The general public can access the MCC consultation service through the cibest.ipb.ac.id website, Instagram account @cibest.ipb, or through the WhatsApp hotline 0851-2930-0970. This service presents experts in the field of Islamic finance, including IPB University lecturers who have expertise in Islamic economics, as well as Islamic finance practitioners from strategic partners.
MCC is a comprehensive platform for individuals, businesses, financial institutions, and organizations that want to ensure their muamalah activities are in accordance with sharia principles. With a team of experts consisting of competent academics and practitioners, MCC is ready to provide the best solutions for various contemporary muamalah issues.
“Through the launch of Muamalah Clinic Consultation, we hope to be a pioneer in providing reliable and quality sharia muamalah solutions. This program is expected to help the community in increasing literacy related to Islamic economics, finance and business,” said Dr Laily.
This service, she continued, is also expected to increase public participation in implementing the principles of sharia finance in daily life.Â
