Again! IPB University Achieves Platinum Winner, Wins 7 Public Relations Awards

The beginning of 2025 IPB University again won the Platinum Winner at the Public Relations Indonesia Awards (PRIA) 2025 held by PR Indonesia at Graha Pos Indonesia, Bandung (26/2).
A total of 7 awards were won in the award, namely:
- Platinum Winner – Higher Education Category
- Gold Winner – PR Department Category
- Gold Winner – Digital Channel Category Application Sub Category (IPB Innovation)
- Gold Winner – PR Program Category Sub Category Corporate PR (Agribusiness and Technology Park)
- Silver Winner – PR Program Category Digital PR Sub Category (IPB in Diversity Campaign)
- Bronze Winner – PR Program Category Sub Category Marketing PR (IPB Half Marathon)
- Best Presenter – Yatri I Kusumastuti
Rector of IPB University, Prof Arif Satria expressed his gratitude for this achievement. He also gave appreciation for this achievement. “Alhamdulillah, I am grateful that IPB University has again won the Platinum Winner at this year’s Public Relations Indonesia Awards. We are also proud of the Communication Bureau team that continues to improve communication performance and continues to strive to provide the best information to the public,” said Prof Arif.
“Hopefully this achievement can be an encouragement to be even better in providing services in the field of communication,” he explained. He emphasized that public relations work is not aimed at imaging, but to communicate work.
Secretary of the Institute (SI) IPB University, Prof Agus Purwito said that this achievement was thanks to the support and cooperation of various work units at IPB University. “I hope that in the future the support given by the work units will be even greater. The task of the Communication Bureau is to help voice the work programs owned by the work units at IPB University,” he said.
Asmono Wikan, CEO of PR Indonesia said, after 10 years of running the annual competition event, he realized the efforts that had been made in building a public campaign for the benefit of the organization.
“Believe me, the PR function in the future will be very important because communication really gives meaning to existence to create harmony for Golden Indonesia. We hope that we can continue to grow towards the next decade,” he concluded.
PRIA 2025 was attended by hundreds of participants ranging from ministries, institutions, local governments, national and multinational private companies, SOEs, subsidiaries of SOEs, BUMDs, to universities.
Stepping on a decade of its implementation, PRIA 2025 this year opened competitions for the categories of Owned Media, Digital Channels, Crisis Management, Annual Reports, PR Programs, PR Departments, to SR Communication. Special this year, PRIA adopts world competition standards by implementing essay-based entry selection.
PRIA Award 2025 judging took place in a hybrid manner by involving a number of judges. They include Asmono Wikan (CEO of PR Indonesia Group), Fardila Astari (co-founder of Reputasia Strategic Communications), Hifni Alifahmi (Sahid University lecturer), Magdalena Wenas (Senior Advisor PRSociety Communication Management), and Ika Sastrosoebroto (CEO of Prominent Public Relations).
