Concerned about Sukabumi, ARM HA-IPB Distributes Aid from Ajinomoto Indonesia
The Independent Volunteer Action of IPB Alumni Association (ARM HA-IPB) received assistance from PT Ajinomoto Indonesia to be distributed to survivors of floods, landslides, strong winds, and moving soil in Sukabumi Regency, West Java Province.
The handover of the aid took place at the HA-IPB ARM Headquarters in the IPB Alumni Building Baranangsiang, Bogor City, Tuesday (31/12).
Ajinomoto Indonesia’s assistance consisted of seasoning packages, medicines, and blankets. According to Ajinomoto Indonesia’s Head of Corporate Communication, Grant Senjaya, this assistance is a form of Ajinomoto Indonesia’s concern for the condition of residents affected by the disaster in Sukabumi.
Grant Senjaya handed over the donation directly to the Chairman of ARM HA-IPB, Ir Ahmad Husein, MSi. He was accompanied by Regional Sales Manager Bogor, Dadan Sopyan and Corporate Communication staff, Indra Gunawan.
While from ARM HA-IPB, members of the Board of Supervisors drh Gunadi Setiadarma, Chairperson 2 Ir Emy Puji Astuti, and Chairperson of the Volunteer Management Division, Ir Agus Susilo, JP and a team of volunteers were also present.
“We realize that we do not have the capability to access directly, therefore Ajinomoto is grateful that ARM HA-IPB has helped distribute these goods to residents,” said Grant.
“ARM HA-IPB expresses its deepest gratitude for Ajinomoto Indonesia’s concern,” said Ahmad Husein.
Until now, ARM HA-IPB has conducted two humanitarian operations to two locations in Sukabumi, namely Cilopang Village, Cikaso Village, Cibitung District and Pangimpunan Village, Bojongsari Village, Jampang Kulon District.
It is planned that ARM HA-IPB will again distribute the 3rd phase of assistance in the first week of January 2025. ARM HA-IPB together with Wahana Muda Indonesia (WMI) is completing the construction of five temporary shelter units or RHS (simple residential houses) and one shelter unit for the storage of relief goods in Cilopang Village.
